Last night was incredible! We started out at Ruth’s Chris for happy hour. OMG, have you ever had happy hour at Ruth’s Chris? The food is delicious and the bartender, Victoria, is super sexy! If you live in Portland, I definitely recommend checking it out immediately – oh and get the steak sandwich and a Moscow mule, it’s like an orgasm for your mouth.
Next up was The Crystal Ballroom. This epic venue is on Burnside, just a few blocks away from my work. (It’s where I’ll be seeing St. Vincent in March.) The coolest part of the venue is that the entire floor is suspended, so it shakes whenever someone is walking by you. It’s the weirdest, most surreal feeling. If the crowd starts jumping up and down, the floor goes up and down with them. It was a little creepy, but a lot of fun.
The Dandy Warhols played, and they were fantastic! Oh, and did you see that they retweeted me?! How cool is that?!
We ended up leaving the concert and meeting up with some friends at Scandals, this fun little local gay bar. Some random gay guy wasn’t sure what kind of beer to buy me, so he bought me five – Hello, awesome!
All in all, last night was one of my favorites that I’ve had here. Have I mentioned how much I love Portland?
